It was less expensive to purchase new unit instead of updating map in old unit. Looked at all models and selected the 50 LMT for size, lifetime maps and traffic. Works very well and am happy with it. I did purchase the vent mount for it as I do not like it sitting on the dash. I do wish I had gone for the model that accepts oral directions, but this one does a good job for what I need. Recommend this unit, you will not go wrong with it. Very easy learning curve and many options that I am still learning; alternate routes, insert way points, restaurants in area.

Easy to read and helpful when traveling and don't want to use your phone data and battery life. Only negative is that this newer version does not have the sound indicator to notify you of exact turn or cut off but there is the talking computer voice assistant notifying you ahead of time. Everything is visual. Accuracy of actual measurement to turn not extremely accurate but good enough to get you to your location. Don't like the fact that only fast charging option is through car lighter. No usb chord which would allow for charging of other devices in the car. Traffic data not very accurate for estimating destination time. Alternate routes does not save you time in heavy traffic and it deceives you.

I was replacing an old Garmin that was on its last legs. They made a lot of improvements in the last 5 years. Very happy with the unit, way to use and very accurate.

This gps can get you any where in the US it is a touch screen makes it easy to navigate the applications and figure out where you need to go.I gave it four stars because the traffic transmitter can't track backups unless it's a main highway or other interstate where Google traffic app is able to do that other then that a great gps to find where your at or where you need to go.

We have been very happy with this Garmin. The maps are clear and up to date. Would buy it again.

This is the 3rd Garmin GPS for my family. When each of my boys have gone off to college, have gotten them one to use in new areas. Super easy to use and very accurate and sale prices are a great deal!!

Great product, so far. No complaints. Easy to setup and use, navigates well. Have had other GPS' that didn't show as much detail as this one, and great up to the minute traffic updates

Some bugs in programming & some needless inconveniences to enter addresses, even after updating it. Works well for the most part. Also some signal issues. Tried garmin but it’s not what it used to be, so I returned it for this one.

This Garmin has a nice view screen and is quick to plot your location. Screen is easy to use. I am still trying to figure out some things with it such as displaying current time and destination time. One thing that is a bit of a nuisance is that this model has lifetime Maps & Traffic but it takes 35-45+ minutes to get the traffic to show up. If you have a short commute to work that may not work. If you leave it plugged in then for a day or so it will be on top of the traffic but after that it will need to start over updating traffic if you haven't drove your vehicle. My 60LMT is the same way...

I've used it twice now while traveling and it's great. Takes the worry out of getting around in strange areas.

This is a great navigation.Nice Map & voice control.

I have not been able to figure out the instructions for mounting. It was hard to figure out how to edit entries. It still loses satellite connection when it is a bit cloudy. The accent is much better than my old one. It is able to find addresses that my old garmin couldn't find.

This is the second Garmin GPS that I have ever bought. No issues with the first one but this one has lifetime maps and traffic updates. I really look forward to using it.

This is my third Garmin GPS. It easy very user friendly and provides me with everything I need. The best feature is audible alerts when the speed limit is changing. I would highly recommend this GPS.

I don't like using GPS on my cell phone and not being able to take calls or have to hear the phone voice guide in my ear while i am talking to someone. This works great for my needs.

Very good GPS shows your route perfectly. The traffic updates are helpful to show delays to expect. Only con is it doesn't show you alternate routes to avoid the delay.

Very useful GPS, It's provide very clear direction and map also making sound and the end of road, so I love it very much.
