Q: What voltage is used with this doorbell?
A: The wired Nest 3rd gen Doorbell can be powered from the lower voltage (appx 24vac) transformers in the original standard doorbell.
Q: Will the wired Nest doorbell camera ring the existing doorbell?
A: Yes the Nest doorbell can also cause the existing doorbell to ring. But for our house the existing doorbell is upstairs so it was hard to hear in several rooms. But the Nest doorbell rings all our Nest speakers and annouces that someone is at the door. Problem solved!

Great doorbell with excellent 2K video quality. The picture is sharp day and night, motion detection is accurate, and alerts are fast and reliable. Installation was easy since it’s wired, and the Google Home app works smoothly for live view and event history. Sleek design and solid performance overall. Highly recommended.

Easy Installation and Setup! Great Resolution!
Easy to install, set up on the App, and great resolution. We have been very pleased with the results and how easy it works with our phones. Makes my wife feel much safer.

Great product!
A huge improvement on video quality and field of view on previous generations. Easy installation with seamless integration with google home. My previous generation was working well after 10 years I only upgraded because my home got a new color paint!
