Works good and feels like it has power. I just wish the head of the toothbrush was bigger. It also hold a long battery life.

Liked it so much I ordered one for my daughter at a really great price from Best Buy on one of their Deal of the Day offers. I love Best Buy’s special offers they have daily on their website. If you haven’t checked it out I would highly recommend it. You can get some really great deals & save a lot of money on all kinds of products.

My mother's wedding anniversary kinda snuck up on me this year and so I paniced and began feverishly scanning through the BEST BUY website looking for something that might be the picture of perfection. I stumbled upon the sonic care 4100 toothbrush. I selected a white with blue green and the black for my folks.

This was my first time using an electric tooth brush so decided to try it out with the Philips Sonicare. Overall I enjoyed the product however my only concern was the brush itself is way too small for my large mouth. For anyone trying out an electric toothbrush for the first time it does take a little getting use too as you find yourself going at a different pace along with having your mouth vibrate. The Philips Sonicare comes with 4 features that are helpful and you can disable them if you like which is a nice added bonus. Pros: Long Battery Life (2 Weeks) Quick Charging Easy to Clean Features Cons: Brush Too Small A little on heavy side Cost For Replacement Brushes BATTERY / CHARGING = The battery usage was good, it lasted for me about 2 weeks of 2 times a day usage. The battery is "Technically" removable however it says only to remove when disposing the product and voids your warranty so would advise against it unless absolutely necessary. The Charge station is nice, small and does not take up a lot of room. The time it takes to fully charge was surprisingly quick which is nice when having to pick up and run. FEATURES = Easy Start :: This is a "smart" feature that the Philips Sonicare learns your brushing habits after around 14 brushes and increases intensity over time. I believe they wanted to ease you in that way it would not be a complete shock feeling this sonic vibration in your mouth. I honestly have not noticed a difference for myself after using it over 20 times however if you have sensitive gums you may notice this more. The added bonus is you can disable this feature by following the included guide. Brush Head Replacement:: This feature tracks how often you have used the brush and the amount of pressure used over time. It is assuming the more usage the more the bristles wear down to where you have to push harder to feel it cleaning. You are able to deactivate this feature as well however I left it on as its a nice reminder when needing to replace the brush head. Pressure Senor:: I really like this feature because I always have a bad habit of pressing hard on my tooth brush. When the Philips Sonicare notices you are pressing too hard it drastically reduces the vibration to notify you to not press so hard. Once you relieve the pressure it resumes the normal vibration level. I would recommend leaving this feature on however you can disable this feature as well if needed. Quadpacer:: This feature has an interval timer that does a short beep then pause on the vibration to have you move to a different section of the mouth. After the 4 beeps for the 4 sections it auto turns off. This would work fine for those why small mouth cavities however I have a very large mouth and it is very annoying having to turn the toothbrush back on. Unfortunately you are unable to turn off this feature but I did not remove a star for this because it was very easy to hit the button to turn it back on.

Excellent product, the vibration strength is perfect to loosen up all the buildup in between your teeth another great feature is the timer on it, it lets you know how long you need to brush for, it leaves a clean sensation in your mouth, the one down side is that unlike other models this one only has one speed and it might be too much sometimes specially if you have sensitive gums, over all i would say it is great as long as you do not have sensitive gums, if you do u might want to get one that has different levels of intensity...

What you first discover if you have been brushing your teeth with a manual toothbrush, after the first use of the Sonicare 4100 you will notice that your teeth feel much smoother – they are in fact cleaner. My family and I have all noticed this the first time using Sonicare products. As they say the proof is in the pudding. Sonicare has been in the electric toothbrush industry for a long time and their technologies have advanced brilliantly over the years. A few Features: EasyStart which comes activated and gently increases the power over the first 14 brushings. Reminds you when to replace your brush head. Pressure sensor which protects your teeth from excessive pressure. A feature that I love over the older models are the new handles, they have an excellent feel to them, svelte with an elegant look – looks good on the counter. Bottom-line, if you want clean teeth with proven technology give the Sonicare 4100 a look.

What's in the box ----------------- 1. Battery charger 2. Gum care brush head 3. Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4100 Rechargeable Toothbrush 4. Travel case Summary ------- Good Compact High Speed Toothbrush with Alert for too much Pressure and a Lithium Ion Battery and a good price! The Details ----------- I have 2 soniccare toothbrushes (Essence & Series 2)and 1 braun toothbrush. Braun being the cheapest of all. I think toothbrushes have progressively gotten more and more expensive due to these becoming high tech, powerful and high speed. However, the good part is that, as you get older, you get gingivitis and in some cases periodontis which means you have pockets in your gums. You need more than just a regular electric toothbrush. you really need a high speed toothbrush to make sure you have lesser visits to the dentist. One Important and big issue with electric toothbrushes is that you apply pressure and the brushes also becoming more powerful exerts a lot of pressure on your teeth and cause abrasions. This will wear out your enamel and thats the reason why you have sensitive tooth. This brush has a sensor which will alert you when you are applying too much pressure. This tooth brush is super fast with 62k movements per min you can be rest assuraed that your tetth will be super cleean. This brush also has a sensor to tell you if your brush head is wearing out, i have not tested it but i am pretty sure it is going to be more conservative and you will need to make your own judgement than relying on the sensor

Didn't realize my 10-year-old electric toothbrush wasn't doing a good job until I tried this one, I believe the Sonic vibration is very very good, very happy with it only had it for 2 weeks now, when first used the difference was night and day like the timer on it and the other options, still up on the air on the brush heads whether I need to get the Sonic brand or an off-brand that is compatible with the Sonic ordered some that were a little more economical i'll find out if they're as well made as the one that came with the unit

I had my previous high-end Sonicare for about 5 years, when it stopped working (because i dropped it), i opted for the less expensive model. Wow! What a difference! I always assumed my old Sonicare maintained the same level of clean, but as soon as i started using this one i realized how wrong I was. Deep clean from the start, quick charging and long battery life. All the features i enjoyed with the more expensive minus all the different levels of use (which i never used anyway). A great substitute at a much nicer price!

I recently purchased the Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 4100 in white, and I'm thrilled with its performance. This electric toothbrush has truly transformed my oral care routine. The sleek design, ergonomic handle, and comfortable brush head make it a pleasure to use. The built-in pressure sensor ensures I brush with the right amount of force, protecting my gums. The sonic technology effectively removes plaque, leaving my teeth clean and refreshed. With a long-lasting battery, and easy maintenance, the ProtectiveClean 4100 is a must-have. I highly recommend it for exceptional oral care!

I had received another Philips model last Christmas which was great. I bought this one after accidentally leaving the older one at an Airbnb over the summer. This model seems to do a better job. At first it almost seemed too strong but you get used to it. I really like the 30 second timer which the last one didn't have.

I have only had this toothbrush about a month, but it is much better than the old Sonicare toothbrush that I had. I have used Sonicare toothbrushes for years. My teeth feel much cleaner with this toothbrush and I bought it at a good sale price. The downside is that the charging base is not as stable as my old charging base and replacement brushes are more expensive than my old Sonicare brushes cost. It is worth it to better clean my teeth!
