One problem with the unit is that you have to make sure that you dont need additional adapters to install it. I purchased the unit thinking that this would be all I needed (as told by instore clerk) and ended up finding out that I needed additional adapters to get it to fit my truck. Of course, this is with my dash apart and the Store did not have the adapter in stock....

This review only having 3 stars has nothing to do with the way it works,it works wonderful no static at all.But the problems come when you try to hook it up, my antenna hooks up in my trunk ,and the wires that hook to the radio are not long enough to reach up front to the Sirius radio.I ended up buying a old used on online they have longer cords on them that will reach all the way to the radio.

It set up quickly in my truck but i had to buy another 30 bucks in adapters to make the antennae work for my 99 s10. It works perfectly and never skips a beat but wouldn't recommend using in an older model gm unless you upgrade radios.

Not able to use in 2016 Ford Fusion due to the the configuration of the antenna cable. Would have required removing the headliner to install... not worth the trouble...

The installation was quick and it looks great in my car, but it was an annoyance to have to pay extra for this piece. Also my AM radio will not work if the satellite is turned on. I am not sure if this is due to the adapter or an error in installation. Don't get it unless you absolutely need it.

This was used to install a Sirius Stiletto in my Toyota Camry Hybrid. It works well. Even though it is tuned to the proper fm channel, sometimes I still hear noises in the airwave affecting the quality of the sound.

This is a handy way to connect but it can be very difficult to attach the device to an older radio, it is almost impossible to pull the radio out to access the attachment point. I never did attach it to the radio to be honest. I have never attached it.

I love how this product allows me to tune directly into my chosen station and not have to use WIFI.

Not as I imagined but it came in handy with free music

I bought this so I didnt have to rely on only the antenna but the signal is pretty choppy and cuts out quite a bit

can not give a review on product performance just want to let people know it will not work with a 2006 ford Taurus because the antenna does not connect to the back of the radio. this is common for many types of newer fords

whatever it took to install this item, the BB service department did not have 'it'. We took in a car with a functioning GPS system but no satellite radio and left with a functioning satellite radio but no working GPS system. To make a long story short, BB's insurance company is going to cover the cost for repair/replacement of our GPS system since the car dealer found that the factory installed GPS had wires attached in the wrong places and things taped together after we had the radio installed. Fortunately the insurance company that BB uses is a heck of a lot better then their service department seems to be. Buyer beware.

Had it professionally installed by Best Buy. No worries. No more nonexistant signal to antenna from the Sat Receiver.
