Before installing this adapter I would always get interference using the FM transmitter. I would frequently have to change stations to try to improve reception. Sometimes even this wouldn't help. After installing the adapter I get no interference at all. Highly recommend this product.

This adaptor made is easy to install the Onyx Plus. The sound quality is great with it! You have to be cautious of the space because you may need an additional antenna adaptor as well depending on your car. I'd add a picture but it's behind the radio when installed so...

This was the answer to my problem of experiencing static interference after I installed my new Sirius unit. Since my CD receiver was so old, I did not have an AUX input. As a result, I had to rely on the radio frequency to hear satellite radio. The problem was the signal from the antenna was not very good. This solved my problem instantly. It works great and was easy to install once I took my radio out again. Had I just purchased this to begin with installation would have been a snap. I highly recommend this product if you believe your radio does not have the proper inputs.

If you live in an Urban area with lots of FM stations you will need this. If you have an older car you will need adapter cables. If you are not handy you should have a professional install it for you. Figure about 75 bucks. Once it's in it works great. This enables the tuner to pump the signal directly into your FM radio without the interference of local stations. Makes the tuner sound much better. It's not cheap but worth the price when finished. Sirius could have just made the FM transmitter stronger but they didn't.

Works good. I never tried using the built in FM transmitter on the Sirus radio because I never had good luck with them sounding good and no static. Or having to change channels frequently. This works well for that problem. Crystal clear and never had to change stations. You will have to turn the Sirus off if you want to listen to the local radio otherwise it will cause static. Only problem I had was my antenna plug ins did not match and had to get adaptors for both ends. So plan on spending around another $30 ($15 each) for that

I put one adapter in my 2002 GMC and it required two additional adapters at $15 each. The one in my 2005 Peterbilt went in with no extras. Both took less than an hour. They solve the problem of hunting for vacant FM stations in urban areas and the radio sounds better.

FM direct adapter did not work in my 2006 GMC Pickup. This adapter does not fit the micro antenna cable ends. Left on a trip to Talladega and did not get full use of my Satellite Radio. Very disappointing !! More info is needed on package.

Works well for adding Sirius to your vehicle. Only down side is it cuts your regular FM radio reception significantly.

This modulator-with the proper fm antenna cable adapters-allowed for an easy satellite radio installation into my stock 2006 Chevy Silverado pickup! The instructions were straightforward.

Works great. Easy to install. Only complaint is that on some out of town stations, the station will cut out for a second like the modulator is looking for a signal. But overall a great product.

Works well at keeping the Sirius signal clear in most areas. Sometimes a nearby radio tower still caused signal bleed issue.
