Hello Gerry, You would need to have the bluetooth transmitter feature for you to connect to the wireless headphones. The TXSR494 doesn't have that feature. The starting model that would have the bluetooth transmit(TX) and receive is the TXNR5100 and up. Once you enable the transmit feature then you would the headphones. Thank you Onkyo
