Q: How long is the cord?

A: Approximately 3ft. It’s stuffed inside the unit at the factory, so you have to pull it out. It doesn’t pull out easy. You have to yank on it

Q: Today, we just purchased this coffee maker and can not get the plug to pull out anymore like the one we bought two years ago. What can we do? It says to use an extension cord but that would be way too long. What can we do? Joyce

A: Pull the card harder. It is folded up inside. I got the same answer from their customer service. Ridiculous. When I took off the bottom to see what was going on inside I found the cord folded inside.

Q: It leaks into the tray after you fill up cup.

A: One time I had an issue with the lever, and it turns out that there were some grounds that had gotten stuck inside the hole. I simply unplugged it and turned it upside down, used my sprayer to force some water inside it and voila! It worked great afterwards. I bet that's what's happened to yours. Some grounds are stuck in the drip hole. It's really a very simple design and simple to fix!

Q: Why did it only give me 8 cups? I filled it to the max of 12 cups. I paid $145 for it to pour out 8 cups?? This makes no sense. I did not push the 1-4 button as I wanted the full amount. If I hadn't used the glass carafe I wouldn't have noticed.

A: makes twelve 5 oz "cups". Yeah I know that a cup is 8oz however cuisinart says coffee cups are only 5oz. So if you fill to the 12 cup mark you'll get 60oz of coffee (12x5). As you discovered 60oz of coffee is only 7.5 "real 8 oz cups" (60/8=7.5). Strange to say the least!!!!

Q: how many watts is Cruisinart coffeemaker (DCC-3000)

A: It is 1100 watts and 60 mz.... And I love it!

Q: what is the tallest cup you can use (inches) without drip tray.

A: 6 inches or hang area over edge of table and then you can use any size.
