Q: range.?
A: Yes. This mouse will work in that range.
Q: Does this go into a sleep mode, or do I always have to turn it off when I'm done using it?
A: Yes, the mouse will go into a sleep mode. You can opt to turn it off, but it does enter sleep mode and saves battery life.
Q: will this work with a window vista lab top?
A: I personally do not suggest windows vista in anyway, they got rid of it because it was horrible and then everyone stopped supporting it but a wireless mouse should work, if not try different drivers. My suggestion get rid of vista and everything will work
Q: Does my Dynex have to be programmed to work?
A: No, this mouse does not require programming. It is plug and play, meaning you simply plug the USB device into your computer and it will automatically install the necessary drivers to recognize the device.
Q: Does this mouse have a back button?
A: This one does not have a back button but other Logitech models are available which do; I use their M705 with my desktop.
Q: My mouse freezes every one or half second - what is happening?
A: Sometimes with my wireless mouse (more from the cheaper ones I have had in the past) they would bug out on me the pointer would freeze up on me and I would it around a bit and get it to working. Later on I figured out that the wireless transmitter that plugs into the computer was out of range and I was sitting right next to it at my desk. So if this is happening to you I would advise relocating your USB wireless transmitter to closest USB to your mouse. If that does fix your problem I would advise going to bestbuy and buy a wireless mouse with better range or buy a wired mouse. Hope this helped.
Q: Will it work on HP Chromebox?
A: No, this only works with Mac or Windows.
