A: It has its own SIM card. You do not need to purchase anything additional.
Q: what is the expected talk time on a battery charge?
A: This product is not a phone.
Q: What is the monthly payment and for how much data?
A: Mine costs me 20 a month and my data is unlimited. Depends on your plan basically.

A: The unit works as an independent WiFi source. I gave the unit to my youngest child who uses it to power their Amazon stick and run WiFi from restaurants and the car. Cable would have cost 50 to 70 dollars a month. I’m on Verizon and it’s the 20 dollars for another line plus taxes. It’s secure and it didn’t tie up their hotspot on their phone... it works for us.
