Q: Programs
A: This does not come with MS Office, as a matter of fact, you can't even download a version. But it does come with Google docs, which can then be view in MS Office on another system. Again, there is a slight learning curve when using this product, but it really does seamlessly work between the PC and Mac. We have all three in my household and have not run into any issues opening, saving, or editing files from either machine.
Q: windows 7
A: No, this is not a Windows computer. It uses the Chrome operating system. It's important to note that Windows based software will not work on a Chromebook. Chrome offers many free alternatives to commonly used Windows software programs like Word, Powerpoint and Excell.
A: Not sure on minecraft, but I doubt it. As far as iTunes go, no you cannot put iTunes on this computer. iTunes requires mac or windows software. Your only option would be to download your songs to Google music and listen to them there.
Q: Is the hinge looser than most?
A: My Samsung Chromebook 2 has a hinge which is quite firm. It will stay open anywhere between 25 and 140 degrees (or whatever the maximum range is considered to be). In other words, once the Chromebook is 2 inches open, it will stay open.
Q: word
A: There is something called "Writer: the internet typewriter" (I'll leave a link) It saves after every character and is very convenient, it has word count and you can set goals for each document. I use it and I love it. https://www.google.com/search?q=writer+the+internet+typewriter&rlz=1CAHPZS_enUS669US670&oq=writer+the+internet+typewriter&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i60l3.5509j0j4&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=0&ie=UTF-8
Q: can you add more memory to the laptop so it runs apps better?
A: Has 8GB but is expandable to 16GB
Q: IS IT WIRELESS PRINTER FRIENDLY?
