• There is something called "Writer: the internet typewriter" (I'll leave a link) It saves after every character and is very convenient, it has word count and you can set goals for each document. • Yes, Chromebooks use Google Chrome browser and support spell check by default. It's the primary reason I use Chrome.

• Chrome books leverage google apps which have spellcheck built in.
