This does not come with MS Office, as a matter of fact, you can't even download a version. But it does come with Google docs, which can then be view in MS Office on another system. Again, there is a slight learning curve when using this product, but it really does seamlessly work between the PC and Mac. We have all three in my household and have not run into any issues opening, saving, or editing files from either machine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, and you can not download them on the chromebook. However, it does come with Google versions of all of the Microsoft programs. This will allow you to do all of the things that you can do with those Microsoft programs through Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Keep (notes), and Music. So, in a way it comes with all the same programs, just made by Google. I hope this answers your question!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Chrome OS is not compatible with Microsoft Office. Chrome offers apps similar to Microsoft Office, that are made to work with Googles Operating system. These apps are offered at no charge. I use Google docs and slides which are comparable to MS word and powerpoint.
