FAQ
Heat sink RAM is memory equipped with a metal heat spreader attached to the memory modules. The heat spreader helps distribute heat and gives the RAM a finished look.
Most RAM heat spreaders are made from aluminum because it is lightweight and conducts heat. Some models may also include decorative elements made from plastic or other materials.
Some heat sink RAM kits include customizable RGB lighting, while others use a non-illuminated design. RGB models typically support control through compatible motherboard software.
Turn off the computer, open the case, align the memory module’s notch with the slot, and press down evenly until the retaining clips lock into place. Consult your motherboard manual for the recommended memory slots.
Power down the computer and use compressed air to gently remove dust from around the memory modules and heat spreaders. Avoid touching the electrical contacts and do not use liquid cleaners inside the computer.
