A: Near as I can tell the only difference is the XE4 uses DDR4 RAM and this one uses DDR5.
A: Hi Hummel, The laptop features a 4K OLED display running at 60HZ. Hope this helps! - John
Q: What material is this laptop most made out of for the build (plastic, aluminum, etc.)?
A: Hi AJ, The laptop is entirely made of CNC aluminum. There is a small portion near the hinge that is a combination of plastic parts and metal parts. Hope this helps! - John
Q: How are these new Oled screens for pixel burn in?
A: My 2017 Alienware OLED has no burn in. So there you go. It's 2022 now.
Q: hdmi is 2.1?
A: No. The hdmi from the adapter is 2.0. You can get some 2.1 functionality from using a usb c to hdmi cable. You need to update the firmware on any cable you get to do this, and it's still gonna be wonky. For me, it looks like I can watch HDR videos, but I haven't tested. But for video games? Torchlight 2 flickered for me, but that might be because it's old and glitches out. Bioshock infinite worked. The newer 4070 model has hdmi 2.1, but it's way more expensive. When it's on sale though, I'll probably upgrade to that, for native hdmi 2.1 support.
Q: Any problems gaming? That's the only reason I want this
A: Hi Dillon, This laptop is equipped with a 3070Ti, which would be great for gaming and content creation needs. Hope this helps! - John
