A: Yes! My VIVITEK projector is connected to a VCR with an HDMI cable and the movies are superb! I project onto a 5' by 7' wall painted screen (using special grey screen paint) from a distance of about 15 feet.
Q: How loud are the speakers, or do you need an auxillary amp?
A: The speaker is junk for anything except desktop presentation, We used ours for home theater, ran sound thru a receiver/amp
Q: where can purchase 3D glasses
A: you need a DLP supported 3D glasses. You can buy Online at Amazon. It is excellent when you use the right glasses. The passive or active RF will not work If you key in DLP 3D glasses you will find it. Enjoy!
Q: Will this projector work with a PS4?
A: The HDMI port on the Vivitek 3D DLP Projector will support input from a PS4. So you can use it to project your game or watch a DVD.
Q: Does a remote come with the projector?
A: Yes. It's a little cheesy but it works.
Q: Can this model be used for Gaming (connected to an xbox or PC)?
A: Yes, great for gaming. I reviewed this projector and took a picture of COD. The motion is great and the picture is awesome! You'll love it for the price. I was even able to find it priced at $299 on amazon, and they price matched it!
Q: Anyone used with a Chromecast or something similar?
A: Yes that's what I did. I downloaded the movies first. Onto my iPad
A: you just hook it up like any other USB. You use a mini to full size, or vice versa.
