Q: How long will a 50 watt power draw last on this battery?
A: Thank you for inquiry. The BE350G will run an estimated 16 minutes with 50 watts of power draw.
Q: Battery Low
A: Anonymous - the APC 350VA UPS takes the RBC35 battery. Link below: http://www.apc.com/products/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=RBC35 May want to check Radio Shack or Battery Plus+ stores nearby you or Amazon or battery shops online
Q: Does this emit radiation? I have it beside my bed and just curious if that is safe.
A: These devices do not have electromagnetic components which produce EM fields. You would be worse off sleeping by your refrigerator. You can buy an inexpensive em tester on Amazon if you are concerned about stuff like this.
A: Thank you for you inquiry. The difference between the 2 is the 700 would support more equipment since it is a larger UPS. Unfortunately the 350 does not have a line for the telephone connection. It would only have a RJ-45 port on which would support an Ethernet cable.
A: Thank you for inquiry. This UPS should work with the medicine dispenser. I would just confirm that the medicine dispenser doesn't draw over 200 watts of power so the UPS doesn't become overloaded. The runtime would depend on how much the power the device draws. At full load (200 watts) the UPS will provide 1 minute of runtime. At half load (100 watts) it will provide 6 minutes of runtime. One the power goes back on the UPS will begin to charge the battery back up to full charge. If the UPS were to completely drain during the power outage, once power is restored the UPS will begin to charge the batteries. Once the battery gets to around 20% the UPS will power back on.
Q: Does this model have any equipment protection insurance?
A: Thank you for inquiry. Yes the unit would come with a $75,000 equipment protection policy. Just note to be fully protected you would need to have the data lines protected that are running into the equipment too since a surge can come threw those as well.
