You really can transform your PC into a studio and burn CD's of the music you have created. At this time I have three music CD's in my car that I listen to. The CD's were created in my sons room with this microphone
and they really sound good. People now want to buy his CD's when they hear the music.

Great microphone for audio recording

Although the manufacturer probably had singers in mind, I am just going to use it for for video narration, likely with a background, instrumental music track, so I cannot say much about any of the features that may or may not be available for them. Hey, for the money, it's great, especially after having purchased it on sale at my favorite store, Best Buy.

Great mic for what it is

It will certainly not outperform mics costing 3x+ its value, but for quick voice overs or recording a new guitar lick, it works wonderful. I've used it for Skype and as a mic for online gaming as well and it serves me well. Voice and instruments are clear. Of course, you need to be decently close to this mic, but understanding its cardioid pattern tells you when to position yourself.

Pretty good little mic

Even though the software isn't great,the screen recording program I use (called FRAPS) automatically records the audio. The only problem with this mic is it records a little quietly,although I'm sure there is a way to fix it in post production. If you're a youtuber and are looking for a cheap mic , this is the one to get.
