Q: I noticed that the rechargable battery lasts less than a day when I fully charge it. Is that normal?
A: It seems to be normal for me when using a rechargeable battery this mouse has the worst battery life ever. Using Logitech Gaming Software you can choose power save mode, but that doesn't seem to help all that much. I have used a Energizer Lithium AA battery several times and the battery life was improved to the point where it lasted at least one week of heavy use. It's been a while so I don't remember exactly how long it lasted. I usually leave it plugged into the USB, but it's nice to have the wireless option.
Q: Can this be used with a laptop? Or just desktop? Will it work well with a laptop?
A: I am sure you can use it with a laptop, but I wouldn't. The battery life isn't long enough. It just dies too quickly. If you are looking to keep the cord connected, I guess it's fine.
