Great for 1 or 2 Servings
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Makes a delicious latte or cappuccino. Your 1st cup would get cold if you try to make drinks for more than 2 people @ a time(single serve machine). Quality construction. Much better than wasting $$$ @ starbucks. Frother does the job, but there's probably better frothers in the market. No 'ragrats' buying item.

Worth Every Penny
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Gaggia Classic machine a few years back. Overall i have not had a problem with the machine. The only advise i would recommend is that you purchase a tamper to go along with the machine. The ease of use is great. There are 3 rocker switches on the front that operate the machine. You have power, brew, and steam. The steam knob is located on the right side of the machine. The pannerello steam wand makes it easy to create micro foam for those perfect lattes and cappuccinos. I make a double shot cappuccino every morning and the results are great. There is never a problem with consistency. As far as cleanup goes the day to day maintenance on the machine is very simple. The stainless steel housing makes it easy to wipe down. When you are done with the steam arm you simply wipe the milk off. Check the drip tray every day or so to make sure that no water will overflow. Great machine and it is worth every penny.

No problem in 14 years
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought a Gaggia Classic 14 years ago after it was ranked first in a NY Times review of espresso machines. We have made cappuccinos for breakfast everyday since and had no problems. Coffee has plenty of crema, pump is strong enough to froth milk without difficulty, and machine is incredibly robust. We run vinegar through it every year or so and clean the screen every 6 mo. The fully automatic machines are a totally different story. We have 2 at my office that have broken repeatedly from build-up of scale in the boilers. Their coffee isn't nearly as good either.

WOW!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this unit is lower priced here at best buy than any other store and compared to other espresso makers this is a low price for what it does ... it takes ese prepacked espresso and it also has a standard filter for single or double shots ... with some research and practice im making some of the best espresso shots i ever had ... even with grocery store preground espresso im making espresso with good creama ... best buy also sells lavazza espresso if you dont have italian espresso at local shops but for the person looking for a semi automatic espresso machine that works great i would say this is the one
