Posted by: Superman86 from Bullard, TX on 05/24/2013The battery life last around 4 to 5 hours. And I bought this headset on sale for $100. Make sure to buy the 2 year plan. I love how who ever I am talking to can hear you well. The BOSE blue tooth headset is also good. Cost a little more.

Not Worth the Price

Posted by: MEGY from Las Vegas on 05/03/2013Within one year, this device is junk. People on the other end constantly are complaining they can't hear me, thus I don't use it. Expected a much better product for the price.

Cant keep it in touch
3
Posted by: Specled from on 04/17/2013When it works it's great. Problem is that little nub MUST be in contact with your jawbone or people can't hear me. I've tried several rubber ear pieces and none really fit. It's just not that comfortable. I've ordered the C ear piece because it looks like the gel piece on the Bose which I lost after almost two years. Maybe that will help. The Bose fit like a glove but to be honest listeners complained about background noise w windows open or top down and talk time was never longer then 4 hours. I've had one of every high end blue tooth ear pieces over the last 7-8 years and still looking for one that does it all.

The Perfect Bluetooth Headset
5
Posted by: k123c from Kansas City, KS on 04/12/2013I spent 30 minutes in the store last night reading reviews online while in the store with my choices. The Best Buy staff was clueless, giving me opposing answers about if I would find apps to hear texts for any android headset capable of streaming music/audio. It was down to this one or the Bose, but the Bose just seemed too plain for $150 without any apps. This headset has much more downloadable apps than I was expecting. I love how I can choose the voice I hear or pick what I want my talk button to do. Sound quality is crystal clear, until I walked into another room, but I can bring the phone with me next time. This headset does absolutely everything I was hoping it would do, looking for something that reads texts, plays music, and won't fall out of my ear. If you are having a hard time making up your mind, try this one, you'll be glad you did. I spent an extra $20 on the warranty, so if it's not durable I'll have a replacement waiting. I know this probably sounds like I'm a store employee, I'm really not. I rarely ever write a review, unless it's a bad one. I like this headset so much I felt obligated to try and help someone else who might be debating like I was.

Love that I can use Siri but people can't hear me
3
Posted by: BlackSmoke from Visalia, CA on 02/07/2013I really want to like this headset but if the other party can't here me whats the point? I've had Jawbone 2 prior with some success but this one i can't get to work well. I love that I can use Siri on my iphone by just holding done the button on my headset. I can have her read my text messages while I'm driving and reply to them all hands free which is great but I'm constantly having to take the headset off and switch to my phone because the other party can't hear me. This may be due to a fit issue but I've tried all the supplied ear pieces with no improvement. I didn't have trouble with the plantronics voyager call quality on both ends was great but I couldn't use Siri so I thought I'd try the jawbone. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever find a good bluetooth headset.

Jawbone era
1
Posted by: aramex78 from on 02/06/2013this was my third Jawbone era replacement. every single 1 of them failed after a couple months of use.so now I changed over to Bose and quite frankly it may not have all the options the jawbone has but it has way better voice quality and the speaker is so much clearer. I can actually hear bass from the headphone.

Get The 2 Year Warranty
2
Posted by: dji6626DI from Wausau WI on 01/18/2013I am on my 3rd Jawbone. First one after a few days people had a hard time hearing me on there end. The second one worked great but the battery would not stay charged when not in use longer then two hours. I'm on my third one, so far so good but I shouldn't Jinx myself LOL. If you purchase this one get the two year warranty. You have one month after purchase to exchange for a replacement but after a month the next one is out of your pocket.
In my opinion when it works I give it an A+. Over all I'd give it a B as it took returning two previously to finally get one that works good. It's ok but way to many problems for the money. Should be in that $50.00 range...

Great noise cancelling and good audio quality
5
Posted by: RaggedRocks from Tewksbury, MA on 01/18/2013I have been using the Jawbone ERA for a month now after purchasing this from the Best Buy store in August, Maine. The sales person there said this was the best head piece for noise cancelling - he was absolutely correct!
For a relative comparison I also own a Jawbone original, Jawbone ICON, and a Bose Bluetooth. I am on the phone 5+ hours per day and often like to conduct my calls while walking on a treadmill.
Audio: Very clear phone audio. Music audio is so so.
Noise cancelling: Able to cancel out radio in a car, TV, and the treadmill motor noise. The key is for the jawbone to push against the jaw. If it does not then the folks on the other end will hear the background noise.
Battery Life: averaging about 5 hours between charges with constant usage. Standby battery life is generally good for at least a weekend. Have not had the opportunity to leave the ERA unattended for more than a day or two..but hope some day to get a vacation to try a longer standby battery test :)
Ease of call answering: The button on the back of the ERA makes answering calls or hanging up very easy.
Voice dialing with Android: Been having some problems with this and my Samsung S3. Not certain yet whether this is a problem with the ERA or the Samsung S3.
One another note. I recently recommended the ERA to the chap who drives me back and forth to the airport. After a week of usage he said the noise cancelling has really helped him.

Fit a disappointment
3
Posted by: Mercpro from Fond du Lac, WI on 01/18/2013Purchased this headset based on reviews and in-store recommendation. Tried for several days and it had all the good things suggested, I just could not get this to feel comfortable for my ears. Left or right, all sizes of rubber adaptors and even without. For the price I could not accept, so returned for behind the head style Motorola. S-11 type is the best I have found.
