Posted by: jct417 from Aurora, MO on 05/19/2013with the different inserts, one will likely be a 'best fit' for your ear. Most other ear buds i've tried simply didn't feel good. They were uncomfortable or wouldn't stay in, but these have proven to be very comfortable.

good earbuds for the price

Posted by: Guy4 from milwaukee, wi on 05/13/2013I bought these for a last-minute trip to asia on business. my old pair of sony earbuds were stolen a few months before, so i needed to buy a new pair of headphones asap. I did a good amount of research on earbuds costing <$100, and found these to be the best value cost-wise for the sound reproduction and "features". I will preface the review with the fact that I had a price-match from amazon.com and got these for $33 w/ tax....so really for that price I would say it would be really hard to find better earbuds with the same sound and quality.
Overall, these have good sound production, really crisp high notes, and good lows and mid-range. I've heard better low notes on my old sony pair (something sony is known for). I listen to mostly rock, acoustic, and hip-hop music...and i love me some heavy bass. So these Klipsch earbuds could have been better in my opinion on the lows, but to each his own. I often maxed out the volume on my ipod and came close on my computer -- never once did these crackle or pop. Sound reproduction was good at all volumes. Like i said before, these earbuds really excel at producing the high-notes...i can hear the "crackle" of the vinyl spinning on my hip-hop music, and can hear every high-hat and splash cymbal in my music....but never "tinny" sounding Mids are OK, but nothing amazing to note there.
the noise isolation was great on the plane and the trains i took during my trip. I was a little worried about not getting a set of noise-cancelling headphones that my friends said I needed to have for the plane, etc. I really didn't want the noise-cancelling because my ears are sensitive to the buzz/hum that those produce. So, I gambled on these tight fitting earbuds, and I won. They did a great job isolating most of the outside noise of engines and general ambiance, and allowed for me to hear my music and movies perfectly. Even better, these come with several sets of rubber inserts to help find the perfect fit for different ear shapes. I usually use the biggest ones and "jam" them into my ear to get the best isolation and best sound. These were comfortable enough for me to wear for a several hours straight, which is about as long as anyone would need. I even fell asleep on the plane with them and they weren't uncomfortable, nor did my ears hurt when i awoke.
Quality of the earbuds have been great so far. I don't abuse my electronics so I can't really speak to that, but I did read a lot things on the internet about these having flimsy cords and connectors, etc. I have accidently tugged on these while plugged in firmly and have not had an issue yet. There is a slight crackle when i turn these in my ear to adjust the fit, but it stops as soon as I stop touching them...so i don't think that's an issue.
Overall, good sound and good quality. I would recommend these to anyone that needs good headphones for a few hours a week, or for an occasional trip. If i used these everyday for several hours, I think i would get some more expensive ones with better bass -- but these are a good option for any moderate headphone user.

Posted by: TrevR from Phoenix on 05/06/2013I had a pair of beats and they were great....until they broke. Had them 'repaired' but still not as before so needed to replace. The store rep said this brand was really good and at the sale price were very affordable so I bought them. OK, but after having beats I'm a little spoiled. Broke and spoiled ;)

Doesn't stay in ears

Posted by: blez from California on 05/04/2013I mostly bought these earphones for using when working out and the guy in the store told me that he thought that they'd be good for that reason. Well they still fall out of my ears and I've tried all the different sizes that come with them. I'm just starting to think I have weird-shaped ears or something.
On the plus side, the sound is very good and if I have my music or radio turned up all the way I can't hear anything else which is an improvement over Skullcandy and some of the other products I've tried.
