Q: Is my 500W amp too weak for these speakers?

A: No. I believe they are rated at 75 watts with a higher peak. You want your amp slightly higher than than the rating. If you bypass the lows to a sub, you will be able to crank it up more without any reason for them to distort. I have a 110 per channel Denon with a sub and can push it to the max with no distortion or issues.

Q: does this come with speaker mounting brackets

A: They do not come with mounting brackets.

Q: Do these speakers require a receiver to work?

A: Yes

Q: Can additional speakers (towers or subwoofer ) be added to these?

A: Yes, both extra towers and a subwoofer can be added.

Q: Does this come with any speaker connection wires?

A: No, these speakers do NOT come with speaker wire. If you're spending good money on a set of speakers, they want you to go out and spend some more on GOOD QUALITY speaker wire!

Q: Are my Klipsch Quintet Home Theater Speakers bluetooth enabled?

A: No, these are hardwired speakers.

Q: I have been reading that these speakers are not compatible with most speaker floor stands because of their shape, is this true?

A: The bottom of all five speakers are flat and they come with little sticky rubber feet. You can mount them on a shelf, bookcase, floor stands or any other flat surface. They don't wobble but you do need caution with floor stands because children or pets can knock them over. I had one fall from an 36" stand onto carpet and it suffered no damage. They also have a screw hole on the back of them, some stands have screws that into the speaker. You will need an 1/4"x20 screw to work. Hope this helps.

Q: Will these speakers work with a 7.2 channel receiver ?

A: For 7.2 use, use these speakers for Center, Surround L/R and Back L/R. You also must get two additional speakers for Front L/R, and a powered sub. If you want to feel the explosion, maybe use two subs, but one should be enough.
