Posted by: kaza from Ogden Utah on 08/02/2012The product was purchased to move while answering e-mails, read, or other task normally done sitting. For me, this can be done at low miles per hour settings but not at higher miles per hour settings. At higher miles per hour, it is good for watching television. Also, I have used light arm weights to enhance walking. It does take up a lot of space and is heavy to move in its location. When it is being used, the light fixture vibrates on the floor below but we live in an older home. After having the product for less than 30 days, I would recommend this product. It has helped me meet a goal to add more movement to my life.

An excellent treadmill, beats sitting all day.

Posted by: shinobi9 from Lutz FL on 07/18/2012A very well built desk and treadmill, easy to use, runs really quietly as well. Even though it's max is only 4mph, that is more than enough speed to do what this is designed for.
Running at the slowest setting of .4mph, I hardly notice I'm walking at all, I usually bump it up a few more notches.
I am very glad I made the purchase, even though the price was a bit of a sting at first. You can't really put a price on health though.
This is my first treadmill, so all I can really say is it runs quietly, and smoothly. The desk is definitely commercial quality, and seems like it's built to last! I wish it would allow you to save data for trending, but that's not really too much of a big deal.

Fit Some Physical Activity Easily Into Your Day

Posted by: Kurthul from Minneapolis on 01/12/2012Full transparency, I'm a user as well as a BBY corporate employee. I love this thing, been using an earlier version for 6 months. The big advantage to me is this: I get my steps in without having to schedule "one more thing" in my day. If I had the time to schedule workouts, I would. But I don't so workout plans always fail. This set up lets me walk while I work so i get some activity into my day while still handling real life, like work and family. It goes up to 4 MPH but I walk at a casual pace, 1-2 MPH, don't run. I've got a laptop on mine and this pace lets me stay steady so I can type. You can use your computer normally- I do email, write memo's, create presentations. You could easily do Facebook, casual gaming, etc. And you don't break a sweat because you're just walking so you can do it at work. It fits into my cube, replaced my desk and chair. Takes about 15 minutes to get used to walking and typing, then becomes second nature. I feel great and I've lost a little weight as a bonus. Easy way to get your recommended 10,000 daily steps.

Great for multi-tasking!

Posted by: Singram from Pensacola, FL on 12/21/2011Great addition to my home office. My back has been locking up after sitting too long and was in need of a solution to allow me to walk and work. In the past I would take "walk breaks" but with the treadmill I can walk more and get more work accomplished at the same time. The assembly was very easy and took less than 45 minutes. The treadmill rolls into plac, so the treadmill and desk are not attached. I am assuming that this is one of the elements that makes the desk surface so sturdy when walking. The treadmill "computer" is easy to use as it has a start, mode, stop and up/down speed button. When I first set up the treadmill and walked on it, the back corner was coming off the ground but after speaking with their customer service they showed me that the treadmill has a leveler on each corner of the treadmill and the desk. They just screwed out and the treadmill is rock solid now. Cool feature is the safety feature, if you are using the treadmill and get off for a drink, answer the door, bathroom etc...after 20 seconds the treadmill stops and keeps your information and when you get back press start and away you go. I like this with the kids coming into my office at times, especially now during winter break. All in all this has to be one of the best investments I made for myself. Very pleased with the treadmill.
