Posted by: from NH on 09/25/2011Bought this Camera as a Replacement for a 8 yr old Olympus. Thought i was upgrading! Terribly disappointed with the performance of this Camera. After numerous setting changes and then Resetting back to Facory Specs, i am still having to delete 25% of the pics takin due to ,Bluryness, or too Dark. Buyer Beware

Posted by: from Jackson, MS on 08/11/2011I bought camera. It never worked. I took it to best buy and the problems continued: 1. I didn't have receipt (it was a gift) 2. They searched every rewards account possible until purchase day was found. 3. It was 60 days past purchase, but still everything brand new and just opened. 4. They sent it for repair because "that's all they can do" to Nokia. 5. After repair, the camera was still broken. same problems. 6. I took it back and spoke with a guy that had helped me numerous times. (His Customer Service was GREAT) But his managers told him that they would allow an exchange but I had to buy the warranty best buy offers. 7. Angry & frustrated, I agreed. 8. The Brand NEW camera has same problems. has never worked. 9. I bought camera 8 months ago, and have yet to use it. 10. I've had nokias and researched the brand which is very high quality. ***So maybe glitch in these series of nokia.

    Great Camera
    4
Posted by: from Stewartstown, PA on 05/24/2011I bought this camera for my daughter on Black Friday 2010 for Christmas as a bundled deal that came with memory, an extra battery, a carrying case, and a limited-time subscription to an online photo service. She has been using it for a while now and she’s had no problems with it – she loves it. She likes how small the camera is and the how easy it is for her to carry it around. She also likes the quality of the photos it takes especially when compared to the photos she use to take with her mobile phone. Plus the camera can zoom-in for close-ups – something her mobile phone cannot do. I’m comparing the camera to a mobile phone camera because that is what she was using prior to having this camera and she was rarely happy with the pictures from her phone. She rarely uses her phone camera any more now that she has this camera. The flash seems to work well for close-in pictures – not so good for longer distance shots – but I guess that’s to be expected – the flash can only reach so far. She has printed many of the pictures she’s taken with the camera and they’ve all come out very nice – even the larger 8x12 photos. Obviously this is not a high-end camera, but for the size and price, it’s great for the average person who just wants a decent picture without having to carry around a large, heavy, expensive camera.

Not a good camera for kids events
    2
Posted by: from Port Huron, Mi on 03/29/2011I purchased my camera specifically for my kids sporting events and outings-like camping.. I am very disappointed to find that this highly recommended camera does not do well taking action shots. Even when you select the scene for sport, almost all the pictures come out blurry. The shutter hesitates for like five seconds and you can never tell when the picture is going to take. If you use the touch screen, its just as bad- does the picture take when you touch it, when you lift it off or as many seconds after you lift your finger as you had it on there. I am really disappointed, I wish I hadn't switched from my old name brand. I also keep getting errors when I take pictures or record that say my card is not formatted. Have tried reformatting & even bought a new card thinking there was something wrong with the one I had... still get the error... must be the brand new camera.

Posted by: from Auburn, CA on 03/23/2011Definitely the best point and shoot I've used, and I've used several brands. This one is great also because it is thin and light. You can take it anywhere.
