Best $25 I ever spent

Posted by: Dyseman from Houston, Tx on 05/11/2013Ok, 5 to 6 days a week, when I do runs for company, I stop at a FastFood establishment for a hotdog or burger... $400+ each month EASY! (Buying for my wife and myself each trip daily)
This, makes it so I haven't gone to one in weeks! I grabbed some Turkey franks and bags of buns, threw them in the store freezer and now I'm down to $30 per month? Wow!
BUT!!! You MUST clean the Bun sides after use or your bread will stick. I found out QUICKLY, don't use buns that are Humid or out of Freezer or it becomes GLUE!
Oh yeah, FULL BUN LENGHT Franks fit PERFECTLY!!! Nom Nom Nom!

I set mine higher and get a slightly charred hot dog. It's the best thing to grilling, without the smoke! The removable hot dog basket and crumb tray are really easy to clean up. The nostalgic design looks stylish on my kitchen counter too! Just wish it could toast the plump, jumbo hot dogs too.

Not worth the money

We have hotdogs on a regular basis at home, so the idea of putting in a bun along with a hotdog was what drew me into purchasing this. The problem with this is that the holes for the hotdogs are too small for larger hotdogs, and even with the regular sized dogs they would still come out cold. Bread being toasted requires a different temperature and time than the hotdog, but it looks like they didn't take any consideration to account for the differences.
Maybe I was using this product wrong (I didn't read the instructions), but I will continue to with boiling hot water/microwave method.

Worst purchase ever
