A: its a good 120 dollar difference id say, mine came out to be about 253 ish with shipping and tax, so compared to the 349.99 for the new one not even taking into account the tax or shipping your saving yourself quite a bit, and the best part is no has to know its refurbished but you :p so if you think youd be a bit ashamed about it being used dont be! no one has to know! this camera is really great the way it is!

A: This camera offers a SPOT focus mode that would allow you to decide where the camera is going to focus. If you are interested in more manual controls I highly suggest looking at the EPL-1 camera. This will offer more control over all camera functions including focus.
