A: No, will not work outside USA

Q: Can this blender easily and quickly crush ice cubes?
A: Yes, I do all the time.
Q: Can you replace the plastic jar with a glass jar?
A: Yeah I had a matching model that came with a glass container that went bad. I use the glass container on the new plastic model and it works fine.
Q: Can I use this to make baby food?
A: It will puree the food. I use it to puree vegetables for easier blending into sauces, etc. I also make smoothies with fresh fruit and liquids and ice, and it all comes out with a very smooth consistency. Making baby food from fresh should not pose any problem for this product.
