A Pitch In Card is a card that lets people contribute toward items on your Wish List.

Here's how it works: You set up your card and activate it online. Then e-mail your friends and family a link to your Pitch In Card so they can contribute online, any time. Contributions can be any amount starting at $5, and you can use your card to shop at Best Buy and

A Pitch In Card is a permanent card that is meant to be used and reused. There is no cost to create a card.

Creating & Activating a Pitch In Card

There are two ways to get a Pitch In Card:

  • Create a Pitch In Card online and your physical card will be mailed to you within 7-10 business days. When you receive your card, follow the instructions to activate it online. You must sign in to your account.
  • Pick up a Pitch In Card in any Best Buy store. Follow the instructions to activate your card online. You must sign in to your account.

Redeeming a Pitch In Card Online

During checkout, enter both the card number and 4-digit PIN on the back of the card.

Checking Your Balance

To see your Pitch In Card balance, you must be signed in to your account. On the My Account page, under Pitch In Card, click on View Account Summary.

Contributing to a Pitch In Card

You can contribute to someone's Pitch In Card online or at a kiosk in a Best Buy store. The process is similar to any online order. You can use a credit card, Best Buy gift card, PayPal or Best Buy store credit to contribute to a Pitch In Card.

There are three ways to find someone's Wish List and Pitch In Card:

  • The person can e-mail you a direct link to his/her Wish List and Pitch In Card.
  • The person can give you his/her list number, which you can use to search Wish Lists.
  • You can search Wish Lists by the person's name. However, if the list is private, it will not appear in the results.

Lost or Stolen Pitch In Card

If your card is lost or stolen, request a replacement card online immediately. Once you request a replacement card, your old card will be permanently locked.

To request a replacement card:

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. On the Pitch In Card page, select Request Replacement Card.
  3. Answer the security questions that you set up when you first created your card.
  4. We'll mail your replacement card to you within 7-10 days.
  5. When you receive your new card, follow the instructions to activate it online. Any remaining funds from your old card will be transferred to the new one.

Returning Pitch In Card Purchases

You can return items purchased with a Pitch In Card in accordance with our Online Return Policy or In-Store Return Policy. The amount charged to the Pitch In Card will be credited back to your card.
