Q: Does it play 2 different DVDs at the same time?
A: Yes, you can play 2 DVDs at the same time or you can play 1 DVD on both screens.
Q: Do I just insert the DVD into the monitor, or would I have to buy the DVD insert seperate?
A: DVD loads into the monitor. It opens with a single button.
Q: Does this play blu-ray movies?
A: No, this does NOT play Blu-ray movies, but many Blu-Ray movies also include a DVD disc that will play. The specifications say that it will play discs with the following formats: DVD, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+R/W, DVD-R/W, SVCD, VCD, and audio CD. I know that it works with DVD and DVD-R discs. I have not had a chance to try out all of the other formats.
Q: We have one child and 2 vehicles. Will one work in each car?
A: YES, each player is fully functional on its own, so using each player is possible, I do think you have to buy an additional charger thought cause that is the part that is linked.
Q: Will one unit play without being connected to the second unit?
A: Yes, this set come with two separate DVD player, each one can play DVDs alone or connect each other for playing same DVDs .
Q: my wires are damaged and dont work well. can i get them replaced under warranty or buy them
A: Should be under warranty. Ask the geek squad
Q: If you shut the dvd player off will it resume play or start the movie over
A: It somehow knows where you left off and resumes play.
Q: how close do the screens need to be? Can one be used in second row and the other in third row? (van)
A: The cord that plugs them into each other is really long so you shouldn't have any problem we actually have to wind ours around two or three times the head seat so my daughters feet don't get tangled.
