Q: Is this subwoofer compatible with a Vizio soundbar?
A: Absolutely. Just use the "sub out" line on the back of your soundbar. As mentioned you will need a Y splitter and use it one of two ways. Option A. A triple "male" Y cable can be inserted into the back of your soundbar, then hooking up your RCA cables, attaching them to the adapter and back of the sub. Option B. Buy a single male RCA cable with a single female/2 male Y. Plug your single RCA into your sub out line, then the single into the female end of the Y cable, finally plugging in the male RCA ends to your sub. I've had this sub for over 4 years, still thumping. Thanks A. Jones.

A: I bought the Pioneer subwoofer for someone else and helped install it. It is connected to a Sony amplifier/receiver together with a pair of B&W speakers and works very well. I suggest making sure you are connecting it to the right outlet on the back of your amplifier and that you follow the subwoofer instructions regarding the controls on the back of the subwoofer. I hope this helps.
