Enjoy vibrant CD-quality audio with this Rocketfish™ RF-WHTIB wireless rear speaker kit, which features a wireless range up to 100' for clear transmission. Multiple placement options allow flexible use.
Q: How many speakers does this kit supports?
A: This kit will work with two speakers.
Q: Cant this be used for zone 2 speakers in another room?
A: I use this for the Zone 2 audio output from my Receiver/Amplifier to a pair of speakers in another room. The distance between the room with the sender and the receiver is about 50 feet and it woks perfectly.
Q: Is it harmful to be left powered on at all times even when not using surround sound?
A: I've had this thing for years now, never disconnected power to either the transmitter or receiver regardless of what channels I am/am not using. All is still well, so I'd say no, it's not harmful.
Q: I am considering buying the product, does the receiver need a power supply or is it battery operated
A: Uses a power supply. I have 2 sets of Rocketfish WRS for upstairs and one for downstairs Home Theaters. They work very well.
Q: compatibility and volume control
A: There is a volume knob on the little receiver that the rear speakers are plugged into but I just have that set to the highest. Then I just use the volume on my receiver that the home theatre is set up through and it does all the speakers (because the rear speakers are plugged into the home theatre receiver through the other wireless box). This kit should work with your home theatre system, it still uses the same receiver that it would if the rear speakers were directly plugged in; it just basically shoots a wireless signal from the one box to the other. This is just a way to hide the speaker wire from running all along the room.
Q: What is the max output of this unit?? Max Wattage
A: Specifications - from the user manual. No power consumption listed but power output is listed as 30Watts RMS into 4 ohms with 10%THD - Not what I would call quality sound but maybe ok for your rear channel. Audio Input: Wireless • Stereo, 16-bit, 48 KHz, uncompressed • Signal-to-Noise Ratio: 87 dB Audio Output: High Efficiency Class D, Speaker-level • Supports 4 to 16 ohm speakers • Audio output power: 2 × 30 W (RMS) into 4 ohms (no more than 10% THD) Transmission Delay • 15-20 ms Power Supply • AC 100-240 V ~ 50/60 Hz The answer form says to add recommend products. I would add wires instead of this product.
A: Yes you can. All you need is the speaker wire to connect everything together.
Q: Blue lights on, but no sound
A: Check to make sure you don't have them backwards meaning the Transmitter and the Receiver. I assumed the larger sized unit was the transmitter when it fact it was vs versa.
