A: The difference is that the 4S active is water resistant and the 4S is not.

A: Depending on your carrier or place of purchase (Best Buy is one), you only have 14 or 15 days. I would take it back if it is having software issues. Just make sure of your return time.

A: The Galaxy S4 is not waterproof, the Galaxy S4 ACTIVE must be the one you are referring to. The Galaxy S4 active is water resistant which is different that being totally waterproof.
A: Depends on the carrier and you'll probably have to unlock the phone. Some carriers give you the unlock code, but i'm not sure about AT&T. There are other ways to do it off the record but it's more advanced. It will not work on Verizon or Sprint, as they have a different network frequency. So your only choice is T-Mobile or another local provider.
