Fast if all web based

If everything you do is on the internet and don't need much for programs this is perfect. not many compatibility issues but really not much you can do without internet. Otherwise very fast and a perfect addition to your home PC. If you are looking for the convenience of a tablet but don't like windows or a bulky laptop, this is for you.

An amazing computer if you know what to expect

If you are looking for a computer that is quick, easy to use, and used primarily for web surfing and basic office work, this is a great option. However if you are looking for a computer that is to be used for gaming, media design, or heavy office work, this computer is too basic. This particular Chromebook has a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, an SD Card slot, and a slot for an optional SIM Card (mobile coverage). The computer does not have a disc drive (externals can be used) and for the most part, you will be stuck with the onboard parts and will not be able to upgrade. This computer also only comes with 16 GB of storage but you do receive 100 GB of Google Drive for 2 years, so anything saved will not be stored directly on the computer (not a bad thing). The 2GB of DDR3 RAM and the Samsung processor will do you very well while searching and the computer comes with applications directing you to Google Docs, Presentation, and Spreadsheets (all compatible with Microsoft Office and looks and feels similar). All in all, the computer is great for the price, but remember this computer is built for taking notes, writing papers, surfing the web, watching videos and other recreational uses. I use this computer for college courses and it works fantastically for me and I highly recommend it to anyone searching for a cheap, easy to use, well built machine. Do note that his computer does not use Windows but rather Chrome OS which is an Operating System that runs off of the Google Chrome engine. Four quick side notes, it is possible to work offline and save documents through applications, the application store is similar to Google Play on Android and games/other apps are available, the computer comes with a 1 year warranty through Samsung, and finally, I like the keyboard better on this machine versus the Acer Chromebook, I think this Chromebook's keyboard feels more comfortable and spaced out.

The apps that are available help me with my schoolwork (geogbra, graphing calculator, etc) as well as the ability to create documents on google drive that are available to me anywhere.
I am studying Computer Science, and am able to use it this quarter because I am currently only taking math and science classes. This does not work for development because it isn't a real computer. I prefer Eclipse as my IDE.
I just love it.
