A: Hello- The RS 180 system features both the headphone and transmitter. This listing is for an extra headphone-only. Either way, the headphones have volume controls and balance controls on the earcup so that you can control them at any time, wirelessly. I have attached a video link.

A: Hello- The HDR 180 is the headphone by itself. If you do not already own an RS 180, RS 170 or RS 160, you will not be able to use the HDR 180. The RS 180, RS 170 and RS 160 come with a transmitter AND headphone.

A: Thank you for your question. You can use the RS180 or the RS170 to charge your headphone. However each headphone has unique features (example: RS170 has surround sound and base boost), so we recommend using the correct base station when possible
