Set Up [Blu-ray] [2011]

If you're a crime-film buff, this one is nicely done. While it isn't sublime film-noir of yesteryear, (therefore), it doesn't compete with some Glenn Ford crime-noirs. The last 30+years don't even attempt to recreate what is now mostly a defunct genre. So this very modern crime film showcases three excellent actors who clearly portray their craft as actors who have become masters of their craft for such mundane characters. This is excellent ensemble work for all three of them! THEY have come such a long ways from their earlier films!! All of them are some of my favorites: Ryan Phillipe, 50©Curtis Jackson, and Bruce Willis! They work well together and create a very nice synergistic blend in telling this crime story. The complete script itself is standard fare and par for the course. But the script's dialogue is well done for this story. It is not a revolutionary film! But the actors are a joy to watch them do their trio-ensemble work -- especially, if you're a big fan of these actors AND -- for comparison -- are familiar with some of their other many, many films!

I would say this is an OK movie and some people may like it but I found it hard to get into the movie in the beginning and found it hard to get into the whole plot.

Took a chance on this could have watched on netflicks

Awesome movie love the plot lots of action.kept me on the edge of my seat.definitely would watch it again
