Q: This did not work with my hard drive that I pulled out if my Sony Vaio PC that is 10 yrs old. Mac will not recognize??? Box says it is comparable with

A: I would check the jumper settings on your old Hard Drive. Might move it from "Cable Select" to "Single" drive or "Master" settings; or TO "Cable Select" if on another setting.

Q: I HAVE A HARD DRIVE I PULLED OUT OF MY SONY PC, I WANT TO TRANSFER FILES ON IT TO MY NEW MAC COMPUTER, WILL THIS WORK? THANK YOU!

A: In short, yes. It should work copying data from a NTFS formatted hard drive to the Mac. Though, to go the other way around: Writing data from the Mac to your external hard drive probably won't work without an external program.

Q: Is there any USB 3.0 version available of this product?

A: Not as far as I seen they do not.

Q: Western Digital taken from iMac is not booting up with my Docking Station

A: The clicking noise generally means either defective, or not enough power Check your power cable.

Q: Compatible with Vista and XP?

A: I have used it with XP, can't say I have needed to with Vista.
