QuestionWhat type of faucet is need to connect this portable?

- Answer Your kitchen faucet should have an aerator on it that unscrews. It doesn't matter if it is male or female since the dishwasher comes with an adaptor that works with either one.

QuestionDo you need to purchase the SKU9898042 connector kit since it is a portable unit?I thought the faucet adaptor was included. Didn't think I needed anything else. Whirlpool on line says to just plug in and attach hoses to your faucet with adapter that comes with it. Is that correct or do I still need to purchase the above connector kit? Thanks.

- Answer Portable dishwasher model DP1040XTXQ includes the Coupler Assembly which is the hoses that come out the back of the dishwasher and hook to your faucet.
