They do what they are supposed to do, but I suspect a half of cup of bleach would work just the same and be much cheaper, but I haven't tried. When I run out of these, I will try and if it does not work as well, I will go back to purchasing this product.

After the first use, I immediately noticed the fresher scent in my washer. I will use it once every few months to prevent the build-up and keep it clean. Good product!
After I purchased it, I found out that Lowes had it for $7.98. I forgot that the new Best Buy price match policy allows you to request competitor's price match only at the time of purchase. This is a "Low Price Guarantee" item, so make sure to get a price match at the time of purchase if you are buying it from Best Buy.
