I did find another model by same manufacturer that worked so much better, that I would recommend to others.

The removable keyboard has all the features and convenience of a full size keyboard. The built in stand is great for landscape orientation, which I use all the time,but requires removable of the iPad to use in portrait mode. I have only 2 complaints; the clasp on the folio cover often sticks when trying to open it up, and the cover material looks a bit cheesy in white, which I bought to match my iPad color

I have lost my connection a couple times and have had to "find" the keyboard and have noticed that it does not always turn the screen off when you close it. It does protect my screen though.
