A: You only have to hook-up on one set of connectors leave the jumpers in place, the reason for the two connectors are for if you have a high end system, so you can bi-amp. In that case you would remove the jumpers, connect the low frequency Amp to the LF connector and the High frequency Amp to the HF connector.
A: Yep.
A: The depth of the RP-600M is 11.85”. The RP-500SA has an 11.16” depth, so it should fit nicely on top of the RP-600M.
A: These speakers sound very good. If they are properly paired with a subwoofer they will provide excellent sound. I used them as fronts for years and recently moved them to the rear a d replaced them with Klipsch R-820f towers. You will lose a little punch.... Maybe it depends on your receiver or amp. I was originally disappointed with my towers until I got a new Marantz amp. So they will sound the same if you are using a smaller amp. If you are running a system with at least 130watts per channel you will lose a little punch at the mids and upper ranges of bass. If your running a typical 69watt per channel mid range receiver you may actually gain a little clarity. That was my experience anyway
Q: Would lying sidewise be awkward?
A: I have 6 of my 8 laying down sideways close to the ceiling and on slanded panels point downward about 15 degrees. My towers and my bookshelves. Saved space and allowed me increase my distance between speakers.
Q: Can you use speaker wire with banana plugs?
A: Yes, this speaker is compatible with banana plugs. Thank you!
Q: What are the differences in specifiactions for the RP600M and the RP600MII
A: he main differences between the original and the mk II (newer) models are small improvements to the woofer (longer throw, better response) and a wider horn angle (for better sweet-spot orientation). The newer version of those speaker models have a little better response/presence and upgraded internal cabinet bracing which lowers overall total distortion (which is already extremely low for the Reference and Reference Premiere line of speakers). Thank you!
A: The RP-600M can absolutely be used in a stereo (2-channel) speaker configuration. You only need one amplifier to power and send signal to the RP-600M speakers. Your 100W amplifier should be a great match. Bi-amping is an alternative way to use the speakers, but is not the recommended way to connect them. We recommend a standard (single amp) connection. Wow, replaced my Klipsch RF5's home theater towers with these and it was an excellent replacement. I replaced for downsizing from my towers. Side by side comparison was honestly a match. Now I have a 2 subs in my system so I really wasn't gaining much from my RF5's base so your stituation may be different. I did end up connecting them side by side via parrallel and wow wow wow again. Great move. Watch the video reviews compairing with the older and newer 600m ll's, the 600m's still a great choice.

The Klipsh speakers are a good value. Enough bass and good mids. Powered by a Marantz Stereo 70s they both create the sound I was listening for. I am very pleased with this purchase. Would buy again.
