Self-setting time to the WWVB radio signal from Fort Collins, Colorado, the clock adjusts daily to keep accurate and auto-corrects over Daylight savings time. Enjoy this 18-inch analog timepiece outdoors, by the pool or working in the garden, as it’s weather-sealed lens protects from light precipitation and moisture. We do recommend protecting the wall clock in dry areas, out of heavy rainfall and not in direct light for accuracy and lasting performance. Thermometer measures ranges from 0 to 120° Fahrenheit and hygrometer scale adjusts to ambient airflow from 1 to 99%RH. Plastic casing offers a metallic silver finish overlaying a bold, white dial with black Arabic numbers. Black metal hands move to step ticking movement operating on one single AA alkaline battery. Easy-to-set operation: Install fresh battery to the correct polarity, switch Time Zone selection, and set clock in direction of WWVB signal (back/front) towards Colorado. Allow overnight (when signal is strongest) to adjust time, or you may use manual button to set time. Once the clock receives radio frequency, the time will automatically adjust accurately. Add extra 2 AA batteries in additional compartment to extend lifetime without replacing batteries up to 5 years.
