A: Thank you for your question on model BCSQ130SS. This unit is designed to be hard wired into your home and does not include a cord. However, this is compatible with the HCK44 cord kit (sold separately) if you need to convert the unit for a plug in application.
A: It is located at the very top of the unit, centered right above the smooth slanted front. It's covered by a metal plate held by three screws. The directions tell you to convert the unit to ductless by unscrewing the screws and taking off the plate, but if you don't read closely, you can easily miss it. I didn't notice it until after I had installed the fan.
A: Yes, installation include removal & haul away of old range hood. Since I have a ducted installation, I have no idea where to get filters.

Range Hood
Overall look of the range hood is nice! I don’t love the buttons to turn fan and light on/off. The buttons are already sticking after a few times using. Hopeful it will last a long time!

Great looking vent hood & Quiet
Wasn't too sure about this when purchasing online without seeing how it would look with new appliances. Glad we did. Bright light. Quiet vent controls. Pulls steam, smoke, heat out quickly. Would highly recommend this range hood.

Great fan - Button issue.
Good fan. Great looks. Very quiet on low and medium but strong air draw on High. HOWEVER. Currently experiencing a major button issue, where low and medium fan buttons pop out (deactivate) after 5-10seconds. Buttons get worse with hot temperatures using stove. May use best buy coverage to change out.
