The cooktop also features our new TempLock technology, which maintains an even temperature the entire time you cook. Plus our convenient Bridge Element allows you to connect two elements to create a larger cooking surface, perfect for a griddle or large pan.

A: Hi, BenAZ! Thank you for this inquiry. The built-in vs. non-built-in version pertains to the installation type. If a cooktop is a built-in unit, it must be installed on a cabinette, under counter, granite countertop, etc. To view the installation instructions provided for this unit, you may visit: https://content.syndigo.com/asset/b56e7de7-a668-415a-a59e-199af1991c6f/original.pdf We hope you find this information helpful! ~Juan

This is my first induction cooktop and I’m loving it. It boils so fast. It takes just a little getting used to because the heat stops instantly, and it stays at the number you set it at. It doesn’t cycle up and down like a traditional stove. As for this Frigidaire model, I can’t imagine wanting anything else.

Really like the clean design of this CookTop. Have had a little issue of water splashing and shutting off control. But not enough to warrant not buying this unit. Looks great boils a pan of water in about 3 min. Very fast. Really like the touch controls and how fast the response is. Going from gas to electric was a big concern. But we are over them. Haven’t had a chance to use the griddle option yet but it still looks handy.
