On second one but still love
The first one we purchased worked well for a few weeks, after that my daughter could call me and I could hear her but she could not her me talking, I sent it in to be fixed only to get it back the same way, after I called customer support the lady said they actually never fixed the issue, all they did was a system upgrade. In short, they sent us a new one and so far this one is working great! I will randomly get predator alerts at randoms times like predator alert at so and so address at 3:40am (yes, the phone was nowhere around this area, and charging at this time) but as a whole it gives me the ability to give my five year old slight freedom and minor responsibility. love it over all.

Better than nothing
Your are going to have a rough time getting it connected with ATT unless you already have a cellular plan. The device only updates every 15 min. So... if something should happen and you realize your kid is missing, depending on when you check the map, your kids device is either where it's supposed to be or 15 min from where it's supposed to be, and possibly already working on the next 15 min worth of distance. Better than nothing. The two way talking is a nice feature where you can listen in to what's going on in the back ground but again the location snapshots are 15 min apart so if your child is at the airport or train station, and is snatched, well.... in 15 min you will know where they were.

not useful as expected
Have to jump through a bunch of hoops, download apps. It doesn't seem to track the right thing. No voice contact. I'd return it if I thought I could.
