Description
Antec's Formula 7 thermal compound protects your CPU even when your rig is running on all cylinders. Since little of the CPU's surface actually touches the heat sink, you need a solution that isolates and facilitates the transfer of heat. Formula 7's nano diamond particles minimize the distance between heat-conductive compounds and gladly take on an overclocking environment, optimally performing between -50?C and 250?C. To keep your system cool and your CPU functioning comfortably, pick up Antec's Formula 7 for a diamond-caliber solution.

used this with a Corsair H90 with a NZXT Kraken G10 GPU bracket to water cool an Nvidia 980 Ti for 4k gaming. It works fine my GPU idles at 26 to 29 C and never gets above 60 C. Thermal paste was also used with my 4790k i7 so there is a good amount included in the vial so if you need multiple uses this will work for you.

Good CPU TIM (Thermal Interface Material)

A very good TIM which dropped my load CPU temperatures by 9 deg. Celsius compared to the OEM material used on my Corsair H60 CPU cooler. Antec went all in on this version of their TIM, using more diamond crystals than several competitors.
Likes:
- More diamond crystals to enhance the properties (diamond is the second-best commonly known heat-transferring material) of the paste. Works well for overclocking the CPU.
- Cures nicely and works better after a small burn-in period.
- Included Spreader / spatula tool was a nice touch.
- Slightly better performance, depending on setup, than Arctic Silver 5.
Dislikes:
- Price. 4 gram tube. Enough to do several CPU's. If you only need to do one CPU, it is VERY expensive.
- Density. This paste goes on thicker than many others on the market.
- If you have a very efficient cooler or low-power CPU now, you will see minimal CPU temperature decreases. If you have an OEM or inefficient cooler, or overclock the CPU, the temperature decreases will be greater, especially at load.

Good TIM

I have used multiple TIMs and so far none have beaten the ones using Diamond powder as their base. It transfers heat better and cures faster.
I needed some new TIM and couldn't wait for shipping of the stuff I normally use IC Diamond 24. Found this and so far it looks to be almost as good as what I normally use.
For the price it is a better buy than AS5 and vastly better than cheap generic TIMs.

Purchased this to replace worn out thermal compound on a gaming laptop. Before replacing the thermal compound I had constant shutdowns due to overheating. Since replacing I haven't had one issue with a shutdown due to heat. applicator makes product easy to use and virtually mess free.

I'm using this on a Corsair H100 with an Intel i7 5820k. The paste was easy to apply and seems perfectly adequate at transferring the heat. My temps are acceptable and on the cool side. There's plenty in the tube for multiple applications. It's also easy to keep it clean and cap it off when finished for use later.

Quality Thermal Compound

Writing a review for thermal compound seems silly, but it's important to share a good review when it counts. Using a proper thermal paste between your component and heatsink is imperative to a stable operation. I used this thermal paste when I installed a new CPU into a blade server at work. I've also used this same compound when using after market heat sinks on my video cards. There are definitely other brands available and from other retailers, but if you're in a bind and need it 'now' - the price is reasonable and the quality is more than sufficient.
