Worth Every Penny Posted by: from: on I was very leery hearing about the release of the Apple Watch when it first came out. I am one who must have everything Apple releases within a year of the release date. I waited quite a long time to look into the Watch and regret doing so now. After much research, both online and asking Apple Watch owners, I finally decided to purchase one on sale at Best Buy. I went with the 42 mm for the very small price difference between it and the 38 mm. I am thrilled with my purchase and cannot recommend this product enough. I was never a watch wearer but I'm obsessed with this Watch and find myself using it more than any other Apple Product. It's simplicity and ease of use are its best features. The only downfall I could find is the "scratch resistant" surface. I am OCD when it comes to protecting my devices and couldn't believe the day I saw a very, very small scratch on the bottom right hand corner of the screen. That day I went and bought a screen protector, even though it does take away from the eye appeal of the watch.

So many options to add zing to your wardrobe Posted by: from: on I wasn't sure what to think about the Apple Watch when it first came out, and I am typically a first adopter with everything . With the Apple Watch my life is made quite a bit more convenient. For example, It's great to ask Siri to do stuff while both hands are full or wet such as when cooking. Health features are also great, especially given that sitting is the new smoking. The reminders to stand are pretty cool. In addition I get to add a lot more to my wrist that makes a wardrobe stand out that much more. As with most Apple products your customization options are pretty fantastic. For the style conscious, I would recommend this style over the steel or higher end watch as there have been numerous reviews of The casings being easily scratched up. Not the case for the aluminum casing!

Awesome-will be even better soon Posted by: from: on Watch is very cool looking and extremely useful/beneficial. Workout app is motivational. Maps is great-especially when walking. It taps your wrist when it's time to turn. Stores pics (you pick the folder). Glances/notifs are handy. It's not a stand-alone but my phone stays in my pocket 75% more than before. Reduces need to look at phone-great for social/work settings. Calls work well-very clear on both ends. App is easy to set-up. It will mirror your phone settings by default (notifications, etc). Definitely recommend.

Amazing Product Posted by: from: on I recently made the transition from a flip phone to the IPhone 6s and decided to add an IWatch after researching some of the features. While there are many great and neat things that this device can do, the most useful to me has been for navigation. We just returned from a 3 week vacation in the western national parks and it was a snap to get around without fear of getting lost. While the IPhone does the actual navigation work, the IWatch allows you to keep your eyes on the road rather than looking at a screen. I've got a number of watches, but this one has proven to be the most useful.

Overpriced wrist candy! Posted by: from: on Ever wanted to be inspector gadget and have a watch that did and controlled and interacted with a lot of your electronics? Then this isn't the watch for you. This is not my first go round with this watch and neither times have I been impressed with it at all. Apple makes it out to be like a powerful device that will revolutionize your life. Don't buy into the hype, the Apple Watch is an over glorified notification device. It can be downright invasive in ones life. For instance when trying to sleep in the middle of the night you may have the watch wake you to tell you you need to stand more often cause you haven't met your stand goal. Or how about this, you get a text message and you have to speak it out to the watch and hope it will say it just as you said. It's a shame cause I have several apple devices, but apple lost their innovation years ago. Trust me it is faster to pull a phone out of your pocket and do whatever needs to get done in comparison to how many steps it requires on the Apple Watch. Honestly it is only good for a few things and one may be Apple Pay. Save yourself a few hundred bucks and put it toward the iPhone 6s!

I'm still up in the air .. not amazed, but fun toy Posted by: from: on So I bought one when it first came out, returned it, and now bought it again to give it another shot. I'm not overly impressed that it's the missing link in my life that I've always been missing... but with that said, it provides an interesting new way to interact with my iPhone. Let me add that I'm not a watch, wearer, so it takes a bit of getting used to from not wearing a watch, to wearing a big heavy watch like this was an adjustment. For notifications of breaking news and texts it's pretty cool feeling the tap on my wrist when I otherwise wouldn't feel the phone in my pocket.

Iffy Posted by: from: on I am iffy about the Apple Watch. Unfortunately, I have an iPhone and didn't have many watch choices like android phones. I wish there was more designs and variety to choose from. It has a lot of features and I do like the watch, I would prefer a more sleek design to fit my lifestyle. The bulky square is just not my style. Cost a lot less than my Garmin watch!

Great product, but not essential Posted by: from: on I really liked the Apple Watch, but it wasn't essential. Getting notifications on the watch was nice. It mean't not being distracted by my phone. That said I didn't feel it was worth the money for me. I could see someone who isn't able to look at their phone at work or during other activities, but wanting to be aware of texts, emails, phone calls, etc. really really liking the watch. At times I was annoyed by the limited capabilities of the watch, but my expectations were probably too great. I really liked the fitness tracking and reminders to get up and move. The steps differed from my fitbit, some times as much as being half of what the fitbit recorded. To be fair I didn't try the calibration method Apple suggests of walking outside with the watch and iPhone and following certain procedures. If I didn't already have a fitbit Charge HR I might have found the fitness tracking more valuable and decided to keep the watch. I found the heart rate sensor to be generally consistent with what my fitbit reported.
