Awesome little gadget!! Posted by: from: on After months of deciding if I really wanted one, I finally gave in and bought it. I have to say, I absolutely love it. It is very accurate when keeping track of steps and my daily activity. I find using it as a remote for music is a major convenience, eliminating having to open my phone. But the coolest thing in my opinion, is being able to make and answer calls right on the watch. My co-workers get a kick out of it and they call me secret agent man! I'm glad I decided to purchase it and I'm extremely happy with it. I did purchase an apple care plan because my job is very active.

Love my Apple Watch Posted by: from: on I've been a devoted Apple user for nearly 30 year, so I was excited to get an Apple Watch. However, I really had no idea how much I'd use it. I have added apps that make my life so much easier. I regular send texts by speaking into my watch. The size is perfect for me. I change out bands all the time because it's so easy. I can even check the sales at my store from my watch in seconds while away. I had a Jawbone Up3 before my Apple watch, so I now track everything I was tracking with the Jawbone from my Apple Watch. The one feature I do miss is tracking my sleep. I know it can be done, but I find it a bit bulky to sleep with. Plus, that's usually when I charge the watch. Speaking of charging, that is crazy fast. One of my favorite features (aside from my wife not being angry at me for missing her texts) is the navigation. Although I have a navigation system in my car, I love the vibrations from the watch when it's time to turn. Apple Watch is a game-changer for me. Love it!

Cool features but nothing I couldn't live without Posted by: from: on The watch has some cool features. I mainly use it for the activity tracker functions. I wear it while I work out. I sweat a lot during intense workouts and the watch has difficulty reading my heart rate while I'm running. Most of the time, the heart rate monitor displays an error message. If my arm is sweaty, it also has a difficult time reading my heart rate and will display a very low bpm even though my heart is racing. I like the caloric expenditure function. I don't know how accurate it is, but at least I have an idea of how much energy I consume. The text reply function is convinient for a quick reply, and I frequently refer to the temperature display on my home face. I don't have any watch specific apps downloaded, so there is probably a lot of untapped potential going unused. Overall, the watch is convinient, but something I wouldn't call a must get.

Great addition to iPhone users Posted by: from: on Was hesitant in purchasing the Apple Watch thinking that I may not use it...I WAS WRONG!! I use it for everything! Much easier to raise your hand to read new alerts or messages (not to mention less obvious) than digging in my pockets to retrieve my phone. Bought one for my wife as well and she had the same worries as I did at the beginning and now she says that she can't leave the house without it. Only reason for not giving it 5 stars is due to it not being water resistant like the new ones and battery life. My 42mm can go almost two days until a charge is needed...my wife's 32mm needs to be charged every night. Not sure if they have different size batteries or if its just a fluke.

Awesome smart watch for Apple lovers Posted by: from: on I needed a fitness tracker - steps, calories, activity etc. Ideally I wanted heart rate monitor and sleep tracker. I got Garmin Vivofir (1st version, no heart strap) as a gift and was happy with it even though the functionality was limited. I loved the app but didn't love the sync time. When I lost it I wanted to by the same one but my friend talked me into the Apple Watch. I do not regret this decision. Yes, I paid $300 for these but they can do so much more than just a fitness tracker. This is what I use: 1) Steps, Activity, Calories 2) sleep tracking with Sleep++ app (app sucks, but still ok) 3) heart rate when exercising 4) call/text notification when playing tennis (i really need that to not miss calls from kids daycare) 5) answering the phone when in the car or phone is hard to reach 6) emails and texting 7) check the time :) 8) calculator I am charging it every other day, charging takes 1 hour and I usually do that during the day not at night. I can't really say what are the cons of this product. to me $300 is a fair price and if you have an iPhone this would be a nice addition.

No need other watch !!! Posted by: from: Florida on I bought the Apple Watch Sport 42mm , and all i can say its awesome watch, i can take calls , send and receive text, monitor my heart, exercise and other things that i can just look up without taking my iphone 6 plus out of my pocket. One thing that you need to know, this watch its not water proof, so dont go swimming with it, if its just sweat or a few drops of rain, thats fine. but do not just poor water on it. My apple watch looks and feels great on my wrist, i also bought a case and an invisible protector for my screen and it looks great while protecting my watch. I wear my watch every day and it last me charge all day( typical last 18 hrs) but i had used is without charge 24 hrs and still have 50%, it all depends how you use your apple watch. Im happy with my Apple watch. Glad that Best Buy will carry the bands, Im ready to buy other colors of bands.

Any apple guru should have this Posted by: from: on I thought about buying an Apple Watch for a very long time. I looked at all the advantages and disadvantages of having one. First is the price and I don't think spending 100's more for a different metal is really worth it. I opted for the basic and what seems to be the one everyone buys. I was skeptical working in a dirty environment that it would get ruined but it has not once failed me or gotten in the way. I don't always hear my phone at work but the watch notifies me and helps a tremendous amount. Even more when I have music playing from my phone but want to change the song without having to walk back to my work space.

Waste of money Posted by: from: on This watch is a total waste of money and so impractical. First of all you can't actually text back, you can only select preset 1-2 word responses or use the voice to text option but there is no voice feedback from Siri so you have to sit there and stare at the watch to read the prompts. Half the time texts and emails don't sync from the phone to the watch even when continuously connected via bluetooth. The battery life of your phone is drained incredibly fast with the watch hooked up and most times the touch screen is not responsive (or you press the wrong thing because the watch is so small and so is the touch area for a command. The health features are also lackluster and do not even calculate calories burned efficiently. the heart rate monitor feature is also wildly inaccurate and will sometimes even register in the 30-40s when your heart rate is in the 70-80s. If you want an expensive piece of junk to strap on your wrist so you can look "tech savy" then waste your money on this.

Great watch, but room for improvement Posted by: from: on I got this as a Christmas gift from my wife. It's not something I would have ever bought on my own, but glad she did! Great for checking messages without pulling out your phone, along with weather and ability to skip tracks using iTunes. Downside is battery life and no option to type a text message in reply. It does do voice to text, but that's not always an option in noisy environments. Also has some preset auto replies you can choose from. It's a great first effort by Apple, and looking forward to seeing what they come out with in the future.

Doesn't live up to the hype Posted by: from: on My wife really wanted an Apple Watch so I got her this as a gift. She was hoping since she walks a lot for work it would work as a pedometer. She was saddened by the fact that it only works as a pedometer if the phone is on you as well. So it will really only tell you the time if you are too far from your phone. Not to mention she is saddened by the fact that it doesn't play music from the watch unless connected to Bluetooth headphones. She was hoping to do chores and listen to her music without using the home system. She can't. Because of all of this I rate this three stars. It is good for what it is but it could be much better. It doesn't have many features that my watch (gear s2 Classic) has. While my wife is satisfied she isn't truly happy as it doesn't offer all that she wanted it for.
