Big Power in a Small Package Posted by: from: USA on Having owned a previous MacBook Air, I was ready to upgrade and decided to give the 11-inch model a go. There are many ways that I could describe the speed and power but for you gamers, I loaded WOW and after it was completely installed, it ran amazingly smoothly. The graphics are not what you would find on an NVIDIA graphics card gamer computer, but more than acceptable. I did not purchase this computer to play games but that is a good benchmark program to test the speed and overall power of a computer. With that said, I then purchased a 128GB Sandisk USB drive (the model that is almost flush with the side of the computer), and have found that I can install applications on it and they run just as quickly and smoothly as those installed on the internal memory. That is a very inexpensive way to boost the devices memory by 128GB and it also serves as a nice independent backup device should the MacBook suffer a HD failure. I also added a Speck clear cover for the machine and it adds no weight and is amazingly thin. I am impressed with the machine and delighted with the compact size and fantastic battery life. I highly recommend this device.

Great Apple Mac book Posted by: from: on I'm very please with my purchase of the Apple Mac book. It. Has the ability to handle everything I do At work. Sometime I use the program Cad for my company and the 356gb flash storage and 4gb of memory are phenomenal. I feel I made a great selection . I very happy with my choice. It's lightweight but get the job done.

Perfect for travel Posted by: from: on I chose the MacBook Air because of the size and weight. I selected one with more GBs and the smaller 11.6" screen, as I travel a lot and wanted something that was very portable. I am very pleased with my purchase. It is fast and even though it does not have a retinal display, the resolution is still good. I chose this model over the new 12" because this one has two USB ports, as well as Thunderbolt 2 connectivity. I recommend this product if you are looking for a small, portable computer.

Great computer! Posted by: from: on I was a PC and now I switched to Mac! It made things easier for me because I already have an iPhone and I was able to connect that to my computer. My family and friends would contact me during class and I was able to respond to them instead of pulling up my phone. It's light and not too heavy. I had a heavy laptop and when I got this, it wasn't heavy in my backpack. And it has everything that I need. I am going into nursing so I didn't need a MacBook Pro. This computer really fit all my needs.

Happy with first Apple computer Posted by: from: on I have used Microsoft/Windows-based computers since the first PC using DOS. Sp the change to a Mac has taken 30 years. While the change in operating systems was a little frustrating at first, I have acclimated and am very pleased. The computer has a nice keyboard (my first backlit keyboard0, the display is very nice, the programs are responsive and startup is very fast compared to my Windows experience, plus the MacBook is light and compact. I have found that many USB devices I used with other computers work well with the Mac -- I use a USB SD card reader (the Mac has no SD slot), am typing this using a USB to ethernet adapter (my wifi works great too, just testing the adapter today), bought a 1 TB external USB HDD that I use for backups (using a third party backup-disk image software) and storage. I have several programs that I use on the Mac that I used on Windows, such as Photoshop Elements and LibreOffice. Setting up my HP printer took a little effort as I muddled until I downloaded installation software from HP. So although I expected more pain in moving to the Mac, it has been worth the effort. Over the last 30 days I rarely use my Windows laptop.

awesome macbook Posted by: from: on let me just say i love my macbook air i went with 256gb buck i figured having this for years to come i would def prolly need more than 128. been comparing this to the macbook 12 inch & decided the mac book air is for me it charge super face screen display pretty nice just not as good as the macbook 12inch. the camera on here is way better that the macbook 12 inch. the air have more ports that comes in handy for me. its a great portable size when my car charger was broke i carried this lil baby around charging my phone. I'm def happy with my purchase. overall i felt this would better suit my needs. I'm in love. i done customized my baby & some more def worth it

Excellent computer Posted by: from: on I bought this for my daughter to use at college and she is just thrilled with how easy it is to use, how fast it is, and how small/lightweight it is. It is a huge improvement over her previous laptops and we expect many years of use from it. It is small enough to fit into her purse and powerful and fast enough to keep up with the school workloads, social media, web surfing, etc. She loves it and we would both recommend it to anyone old enough to appreciate a good computer.
