Great laptop Posted by: from: on Purchased this m5 version for a bit more power. Love the fact that it is fanless and that it gets about 10 hours of battery life. The screen is clear, crisp and gorgeous. The trackpad is responsive and very large, which I like! I have no problems editing 1080p video on this machine and it has taken everything I have thrown at it without an issue. If you are in the market for a thin, lightweight, fanless and powerful machine then look no further. The core m5 will meet your needs.

Great computer until....... Posted by: from: on So I purchased this because I gave my previous MacBook Pro 13 inch to my brother heading to graduate school. That meant I didn't have a personal laptop anymore leaving me with my custom desktop and my work Lenovo laptop (720p screen.... painful to look at. Come on it's 2016 people). So I was in the market for a new computer. Deep down I really wanted a Mac again but wanted to try something different and not buy the EXACT same computer. So I went with this option with the Intel M5 chip... I loved this laptop and the M5 chip kept up easily while doing tasks such as surfing web, streaming, and working through office. I did slowly slightly when working with large Excel spreadsheets, but that was expected. I also couldn't find an IDE I liked without having to run parallels on it. Once I realized I only used it for web and email, while I did the more processor demanding task on my desktop... I knew it wasn't for me when I only went to grab it for simple email and web surfing. I also realized it was essentially a fancy expensive iPad for over triple the price... For the money I spent I also wanted the horsepower found at that price point since I didn't travel a lot. I ended my search with the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro..... haven't looked back since. Especially since I got a LOT MORE for a little bit less than what I paid for the Mac. If you travel a lot or just need it for simple productivity programs and streaming. The screen is beautiful and when its in your bag you can hardly tell due to how lightweight it was.

Best Ultraportable Laptop Ever!! Posted by: from: on You might scoff at the price but if you do a lot of work on the go and are a lover of great design/apple products, then you'll fall in love with this computer. Apple's new macbook is fantastic but fair warning, you'll have to get used to a) the lack of ports and b) the keyboard. However as someone that owns a 15 inch macbook pro and has multiple 13 inch air's for his business, I can tell you that I got very used to these changes quickly. You will love this computer. One tip though, if you're going to buy it, shell out the extra money for the M5 512GB model, it's much faster than the base, you won't regret it in the long term.

Feather Light and Awesome Posted by: from: on This laptop has an excellent screen, runs cool, and the battery lasts just over 10 hours with the screen dimmed to 25%. There are no moving parts and this laptop is powerful enough to handle most applications without slowing down.

Wow! Posted by: from: on My last computer was a 2011 Macbook Pro. It lasted me over 5 years with little to no headaches. I knew my next laptop would be a macbook but which one? The sales person/supervisor John at Best Buy in Middletown was knowledgeable and really worked to help find the right machine to meet my needs. I went with the new Macbook. Have it only for 2 days and am thrilled with it. Will take a little getting used to with having only the one port which is used to charge the machine. Definitely pick up the adapters for usb usage and hooking up to an HDMI. All in all a powerhouse for such a small sexy machine!

Perfect device for on the go! Posted by: from: Green Bay, WI on I have to admit that I toiled over replacing my older MacBook Pro with a MacBook, but many of the negatives I was worried about going in have turned out to be positives. A USB-C adapter on my desk serves as a nice port replicator, so I only have one thing to plug in to get my external monitor, keyboard and power at my desk. Despite its size, the Retina screen is easy to read and makes for a reasonable second screen in the office.

One port = One major annoyance Posted by: from: Los Angeles, CA on This computer is great. It's a bit more of a workhorse than I was expecting, especially at the low price point. My main concern is its lack of inputs or outputs. Everything is filtered through one port, which requires the consumer to buy additional floppy accessories that add unnecessary cluster to your setup. The tradeoff is that you get the ultra-slim body (the slimmest in Mac history, I believe) and a fast SSD. I'd recommend it.

Fast and light, but needs ports Posted by: from: on Like the summary, I'm happy with how fast the machine is, but the single USB-c port is a problem. I've bought 2 add on dongles so far to improve the flexibility for the external HDD and printer and other devices I use. Frustrating. I've also found the unfortunate HDD dismount problem, which I never had with my old MacBook Pro- my external drive randomly dismounts. Repeatedly. Still troubleshooting to get it resolved.

Awesome Posted by: from: on Love this MacBook. Owned a 2010 Pro and upgraded to this wonderful machine. Light, fast, and sleek. Don't sit on it as it's about as thick as a slice of ham.

Like the design, but can use some improvement... Posted by: from: Atlanta, GA on I bought these headphones because I didn't like retractables...they felt flimsy and easy to snap off, and I've had some issues with the earpieces breaking. These feel much sturdier, but the magnets that hold them on the neck frame are very weak, and the ear pieces are a weird fit (at least for me). Also, the cables tend to twist in weird ways, making the headset feel awkward. As for sound, not bad for the price... Lastly, connectivity...these types of headphones have always left me with a bad taste in my mouth as they disconnect from the phone without reason, and can be troublesome when multiple devices are connected. I'll recommend them only because they're not much worse than others I've had...they're just not a ton better.
