Ready for home use or the loudest pro tournament, you can transform the A40 TR from an open-back to a closed-back noise-cancelling headset by swapping components like Speaker Tags, microphone, and ear cushions (sold separately) in ASTRO Mod Kits). The MixAmp M80 gives you the best on-controller audio experience available. Three preset EQ modes, active Mute, and Game:Voice Balance controls give you the control over Amplified Stereo audio. The intuitive design allows you to easily adjust your audio preferences without taking your eyes off the screen- so your killstreak goes uninterrupted. Seamless Xbox One integration and precision audio done the ASTRO way.

Q: So I just bought these the other day. I'm not sure if I just have poor hearing or these headsets aren't very loud. I've ran into this issue with several other headsets. Any one else know how to boost the volume ?

A: Try tapping the game button until the light is all the way to the right. And turning the knob to full blast. I usually play with one notch to the left of the last light if that makes sense. That way I can still hear party chat.

Q: Will this work if I have an elite controller with paddles?

A: Yes is the short answer, I use an elite controller as well as a scuff one with paddles and it does not interfere.
